When to use it, when not to
- UseUse it as a stopgap when you need a single combined-team email and do not have (or do not want to set up) a recurring dashboard subscription in HubSpot's native Reports tool.
- UsePrefer HubSpot's native reporting first: build a dashboard report grouped by owner for calls and emails logged in the last 7 days, then use the dashboard's own "Send this dashboard" recurring email subscription (Reporting > Dashboards > Share > Email this dashboard, available on all plans). That native path needs no custom code and no workflow at all; only build the workflow version below if you need custom formatting, a non-standard recipient list, or logic the dashboard subscription cannot express. Emailing a dashboard on a recurring schedule is available on all products and plans, from Reporting > Dashboards > Share > Email this dashboard, with daily, weekly and monthly options and a Send now button for a one-off test (https://knowledge.hubspot.com/dashboard/email-or-export-reports-and-dashboards).
- SkipDo not use it if your team is larger than a handful of reps; the custom code action below loops through each rep's activity synchronously and can approach the workflow custom code action's execution time limit on larger teams. (check in your portal: exact execution time limit for custom coded actions, commonly around 20 seconds, may not be enough for a large team's worth of API calls in one run)
- SkipDo not use this to replace 1:1 coaching conversations; a digest is a pulse check, not a performance review.

Install1 click. The installer creates the properties this spec declares and the workflow itself, switched off, then opens a task for the prerequisites that are assets rather than properties, such as a team, a static list or a marketing email. What it created is listed on the install page.1 click, switched off
