Notify rep when a sequence contact opens or clicks 3+ times in a week (buying-intent alert)

Sales opsContactSales Hub ProfessionalIntermediate~40 min to buildFull spec

Outcome. A rep learns the moment a sequence contact's engagement spikes to 3 or more opens or clicks within a week, a lightweight buying-intent signal worth a personal follow-up instead of waiting for the sequence to run its full course.

When to use it, when not to

  • UseUse it for reps who run sequences at volume and would otherwise never notice a single contact re-reading the same email three times in two days.
  • UseUse it as an early nudge to call or personally email a contact, not as a scoring system on its own.
  • SkipDo not use it if your sequence volume is low enough that reps already track individual contact engagement manually; the extra property upkeep may not be worth it.
  • SkipDo not treat this as a rolling 7-day window in the strict sense. HubSpot workflows have no native rolling-window counter, so this build uses a weekly counter reset on a fixed day instead, see the note in Prerequisites.
