Outcome. A property value from a contact's associated company appears directly on the contact record, so list segmentation and exports that only read contact properties do not need a separate company lookup.

When to use it, when not to
- UseUse it when a rep-facing list, view, or export filters only on contact properties and needs a company-level value, such as industry, mirrored onto the contact.
- UseUse it for one clearly chosen source property at a time; do not chain several unrelated copy actions into one workflow, since a failed association lookup then blocks unrelated fields.
- SkipDo not use it on multi-company contacts without deciding which company is primary first; see data-quality-016. Copying from "an associated company" is ambiguous if there is more than one and no primary is set.
- SkipDo not use it for values that change often on the company side unless re-enrollment is set to catch that change; a one-time copy goes stale silently otherwise.
