Create a commission split record for co-selling deals with two owners
One of 565 written HubSpot workflow specs, by a collective of independent HubSpot consultants.
Enterprise
Seat pricing: Enterprise edition. To build it, a GTM Seat or an Ops Seat (an Ops Seat cannot create marketing emails or sequences). Per-hub plans: Sales Hub Enterprise.
OutcomeA co-sold deal produces two linked commission records, one per rep, split by an agreed percentage, instead of one rep's commission record covering the whole deal and a manual conversation to sort out the split afterward.

When to use it, when not to
Use it
- Use it together with sales-ops-020 (commission calculation), for deals explicitly flagged as co-sold with an agreed split percentage.
- Use it when the split is a simple two-way percentage agreed before or at close; this does not handle three or more co-sellers or variable, tiered splits.

Skip it
- Do not use it for every deal by default; most deals have a single owner and should go through sales-ops-020 alone. This fiche only fires when a partner owner and split percentage are explicitly set.
- Do not use it without Data Hub or Sales Hub Enterprise (or Service
Hub Enterprise); custom objects, and workflows that create custom object
records, require an Enterprise-tier subscription
