Outcome. A rep finds out when a contact stops opening or clicking sequence emails for over a week, instead of discovering it only when the sequence ends with no reply.

When to use it, when not to

  • UseUse it for sequences with more than a handful of steps, where a contact could go quiet halfway through and the rep would not notice until the whole thing finishes.
  • UseUse it to prompt a manual channel switch (a call, a LinkedIn message) while the contact is still actively enrolled, rather than waiting for sales-ops-038's end-of-sequence handling.
  • SkipDo not use it on short 2 or 3 step sequences that finish in under 10 days anyway; the alert would never have time to fire before the sequence naturally ends.
  • SkipDo not treat "quiet" as equivalent to "not interested." Some contacts read email in a client that blocks open tracking entirely; a zero-open count is not proof of disengagement.
